Air Liquide, CaetanoBus and Toyota Motor Europe have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop integrated hydrogen solutions. This will include the development of infrastructure and vehicle fleets to accelerate the expansion of hydrogen mobility for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
The three companies will use their complementary expertise to address the entire hydrogen mobility value chain, from renewable or low-carbon hydrogen production, distribution, and refuelling infrastructure to the deployment of different vehicle segments. They will focus on buses, light commercial vehicles and passenger cars and then work towards scaling up the heavy-duty truck segment.
