The workshop, linked to the EU Green Deal and Covenant of Mayors initiative, will be presented by the international artist Ruslana. The session offers a platform to analyze effective policies in sustainable mobility and self-sufficiency energy.
The panel will be moderated by the General Secretary of the Association of European Border Regions, who has considerable experience working with EU regional policies. Four local and regional best practices will be discussed: economic and technical proposals to promote energy rehabilitation in the city of Rubí (Spain); the experience in the use of hydrogen as a source of energy for public transport in Köln (Germany); the regional experience of Energy Safety and Alternative Energy Development in Odessa (Ukraine); and the global impact in the reduction of the greenhouse gas emissions in Lappeenranta (Finland).
