Towards zero-emission public transport with fuel cell buses: experiences and next steps

We all agree that the future of public transport should be zero-emission! Europe has to achieve 55 per cent net emission reductions by 2030 and net zero by 2050. Fuel cell buses are part of the solution. Much progress has been made towards the deployment and commercialisation of fuel cell buses, thanks to the initiatives of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. 3Emotion is one of the first fuel cell bus projects supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. The project has deployed 29 fuel cell buses at seven public transport operators at five sites in Europe since 2015. This means we have a lot of practical knowledge to share!
With this conference, we want to share our experiences and lessons learned on the buses and the refuelling infrastructure.

But we also want to look into future plans. Besides presentations of all of our sites (Aalborg, London, Pau, Versailles, Rotterdam), we also welcome the colleagues of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and the JIVE and JIVE 2 projects (that will operate about 300 fuel cell buses in Europe). They will tell you more about their plans for the future.

The Conference is hosted by one of our partners, Be Green, in France. We will also look into the concrete plans for Fuel Cell buses in France.

If you want to know all about fuel cell buses and their infrastructure, the lessons learned, the current situation and plans for the future, don’t hesitate and register for our event!
